As Director of Accounting for Whitman Family Development, Ernesto Barrio manages all functions relative to payables, receivables and payroll. He is also responsible for verifying the integrity and accuracy of financial operations, refining reporting documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Ernesto has been an accountant with Whitman Family Development and its affiliated entities since 1991 and has an intimate knowledge of its administrative systems. Prior to joining Whitman Family Development, Ernesto graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and spent a number of years working in the commercial banking industry.

Ernesto has also contributed his personal time working with charities such as the March of Dimes and Habitat for Humanity.
